2023 VERNON GRANT ORNAMENT

"A Christmas card was sent my way, and it missiled me back to yesterday
When our country was sane and the living was good, and people interacted the way they should
Vernon Grant was the man who created the scenes, on many of America's magazines
His three little Gnomes have come a long way, they are still enjoyed on cereal boxes today
His talent and creations were not here and there, they went out into the World everywhere
Vernon's little Gnomes were a work art, intentionally intended to tickle the heart
His fondness for Santa was deep and true, it was there to see in all the Santas he drew
He was a mortal and now he is gone, but what he left us will forever live on
I find it sad but I have to say, there are no Vernon Grants today
But we have to accept it and try to stay of good cheer
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !!!"
